Reflection of Vefq science to numbers in Seif Sfarangi's poetry

Abstract

Vefq science to numbers is considered as a strange science and topics of the art of talismans, amulets and departures. Some of the contents of this art have entered popular culture and beliefs and from there have entered Persian poetry and literature. In the Divan of Seif al-Din Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Araj Sfarangi (661-581 AH), there are articles about the adaptation of numbers and the property of "three in three", which have been studied in this article by referring to ancient sources.This research is a theoretical study that has been done by library collection method and has studied the issue of matching numbers in Seif Sfarangi Divan by referring to reliable and ancient sources. A study of aspects of the science of horizons and its properties and sub-principles in Seif Sfarangi"s poetry, which leads to a better understanding of the meaning of these verses and clarifies the knowledge of the reflection of foreign sciences in Persian poetry and literature. In this article, it was identified: 1. Divan Seif Sfarangi is one of the sources of the index of reflection of Vefq science to numbers in Persian literature and from this point of view it has points and distinctions. 2. Also, using ancient and reliable sources, the dimensions and categories of horizons in Sfarangi poetry have been explained. 3. Points were made about the property of three in three and the properties of adaptation and the role of adaptation on the gems and writings of kings. 4. These issues have made it more accurate to understand some of the public opinion. 5. There are points about the pronunciation of "thirty" / "three". 6. New points were created from the popular imagination and related to the spells and departures regarding the flag of Kavian, the ring of Jam and the seal of Suleiman.
